RIDGWAY, COLORADO, U.S. — Vance Taylor, president and general manager of the North Dakota Mill and Elevator Association, has been installed as chair of the Wheat Foods Council.

Taylor and other members of the WFC executive committee begin their terms as officers with the start of the council’s 2018-19 fiscal year July 1. The installation took place at the group’s annual meeting, June 12-14 at the Wheat Marketing Center in Portland, Oregon, U.S.

Taylor has headed the North Dakota Mill for 18 years. Before that he spent 19 years in various milling division roles at Conagra Brands, Inc.

New to the executive committee in fiscal 2019 is Hayden Wands, global vice-president of procurement, commodities, Grupo Bimbo S.A.B. de C.V. Wands has been with Bimbo since 2011, and in his current role he has oversight of all commodity-based ingredients the company purchases globally.

Other members of the new WFC executive committee are Rachael Vonderhaar, secretary-treasurer of Vonderhaar Farms, Inc, Camden, Ohio, U.S., vice-chair of WFC; and Debi Rogers, director of baking services at AIB International, Inc., WFC immediate past chair.
