LANSFORD, NORTH DAKOTA, U.S. — CHS Sunprairie opened its new Wiley terminal near Langford, North Dakota, U.S., according to media reports.

The terminal will shuttle wheat and soybeans and will hold 900,000 bushels of grain and handle a 120-car train.

The facility is CHS Sunprairie’s tenth new terminal.

As part of the ribbon cutting on June 25, grain was delivered  by two grain producers who bid on the opportunity to benefit the local ambulance service.

CHS Sunprairie’s core business is grain, with agronomy operations based out of Bowbells, North Dakota, U.S, and a joint venture with Enerbase Cooperative Resources and Border Ag & Energy to provide agronomy services, known as Dakota Agronomy Partners, that has a footprint that covers an area from Washburn to the Canadian border.

CHS Sunprairie cooperative is one of many company-owned, locally-governed service centers that are part of CHS Inc.  According to Sosland Publishing’s 2018 Grain & Milling Annual, CHS Inc. has 249 grain storage facilities with total licensed grain storage capacity of 368.636 million bushels.
