According to media reports, once completed the terminal will house four silos with a capacity of 6,500 tonnes each. It will be able to handle 4 million tonnes of cargo per year and the throughput will be 300 trucks and 200 railway cars per day.
The Olvia port was founded in 1992 and is located on the left bank of the Dnepro-Bug estuary. The port has seven berths with a total length of 1.53 km to carry out loading and unloading operations and servicing of sea and river vessels. Currently, the processing capacity of the Olvia port is up to 5 million tonnes of general cargo per year.
