Great Plains Analytical Laboratory (formerly CII Laboratory Services), located in Kansas City, Missouri, U.S., is an ISO 17025 certified laboratory providing extensive services dedicated to the grain, milling and baking industries. Directly focused on the cereal grain industry, Great Plains Analytical Laboratory provides analytical capabilities that cater to the specific needs of the food and agribusiness sectors.

Great Plains Analytical Laboratory performs flour, feed and grain quality tests to determine moisture, protein, ash content, Falling Number, fat, total fiber and sugar profile. Other tests include Farinographs, Alveographs and Amylographs.

Its offerings include:

• proximate analyses;

• physical dough testing;

• other grain and flour analyses;

• HPLC mycotoxin and vitamin analyses;

• minerals by atomic absorption;

• microbiological testing;

• nutritional labeling testing and GMO testing and

• consultation on control systems and sanitation.

Great Plains Analytical Laboratory is the only private laboratory in the U.S. that provides wheat and flour crop quality information through its annual Wheat Crop Quality Survey. This data is provided to U.S. Wheat Associates for its annual quality report, which is available by subscription. The survey provides users with a timely look at the new wheat crop and flour qualities that can be expected from three wheat classes: Hard Red Spring, Hard Red Winter and Soft Red Winter.
