Bühler North America
, headquartered in Minneapolis, Minnesota, U.S., designs and constructs plants and equipment for many segments of the food and non-food industries.
Bühler’s grain processing division provides the following services to the flour milling industry:
• wheat, durum, maize and rye milling;
• storage and handling of finished products;
• bagging and loading;
• heat treatment of flour, bran and germ;
• ready mix plants for flour products; and
• raw materials handling for bread and bakery goods.
Bühler recently introduced the impact machine Matador MJZH. The Matador is an entirely new impact machine designed for mechanical destruction of insects and their eggs in flour or semolina. Independent examination validated that the machine’s cross-current principle effectively destroys more than 99% of all insects and their eggs contained in the flour. This destruction rate is consistent at the top throughput capacity with minimum operation and maintenance costs. To meet individual requirements, the Matador comes in five closely graduated sizes with throughput capacities ranging from 1 to 45 tph. All the machines have a high mortality rate of over 99%, reliable and durable operation and low operation and maintenance costs.
