Behlen was the first to introduce a 1.5-million-bushel (42,000-tonne) grain silo with a clear span roof and is a world leader in the storage of feed and cereal grains, edible beans, oilseeds and other bulk commodities. Behlen grain systems are being used to meet the growing food needs of people in more than 70 countries around the world.

All components of Behlen grain systems are manufactured to rigid quality standards for precise fit and ease of assembly. Behlen bins feature a unique trapezoidal wall panel design providing greater strength against both inward and outward pressures.

Founded in 1936, Behlen has built upon a solid reputation as a world-class manufacturer.

In addition to bins, Behlen Building Systems provides flat storage options. The buildings feature all-steel construction for more strength and stability than other types of structures. All buildings are custom-designed to provide the most economical dimensions for the specific application. Behlen is a founding member of the Metal Building Manufacturers Association (MBMA) and the first metal building firm in the U.S. to achieve current MBMA quality accreditation requirements.
