CORUM, TURKEY — Alapala recently completed a new turnkey automated flour mill with a capacity of 160 tonnes per day of wheat to Astarta FZE, who are based in the Hamriyah Freezone, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Astarta FZE was established in April 2010 in the Hamriyah Freezone, Sharjah. The Hamriyah Freezone, which is next to the Hamriyah Port made it the ideal position for receiving wheat, which is imported by ship. Alapala also supplied steel silos with a capacity of 20,000 tonnes for wheat storage.
Alapala designed and supplied a flexible mill which enables Astarta FZE to mill blends of different types of wheat to produce a variety of high quality flours required by the local UAE and export markets.
Astarta FZE recently awarded yet another contract to Alapala for a bulk flour loading facility with a truck loading capacity of 15 tph. This new facility will enable Astarta FZE to service its large industrial clientele by delivering flour in bulk.
