Brotherton named general manager for Union Iron

DECATUR, ILLINOIS, U.S. — Mike Brotherton has been named general manager for Union Iron, appointed by Tom Zant, vice-president, commercial products group for Ag Growth International (AGI).
In his new position, Brotherton will be responsible for the growth trajectory of Union Iron and improving the organization’s ability to exceed customer need through advanced manufacturing and engineering methods, enhanced quality and new product development, AGI said.
Brotherton brings an extensive background in manufacturing and business leadership, most recently as president of tier-2 automotive supplier Thermalex, a division of Mitsubishi Aluminum Corp. Brotherton and his family will be relocating to Decatur.
Union Iron is part of the AGI, Inc. group.
