MADRID, SPAIN — Symaga recently announced that it reached a new monthly production record of 3,800 tonnes of steel in March. Standard monthly production is normally around 2,000 tonnes of steel, the company said. The previous record was 3,254 tonnes reached in February.
Projects all over the world helped the company reach this new milestone but were concentrated in Eastern Europe, Russia and Ukraine. Symaga said it has seen an increase in projects involving ports and feed mills.
Based on higher demand, Symaga said it has invested the last four years in preparing its factory, adding new production lines as well as new production methods.
“These investments have allowed us to reach this record,” Symaga officials said. “All departments at the company have been sized to reach this record.”
