Silos Cordoba adds general manager in Spain

CORDOBA, SPAIN — Silos Cordoba announced recently that Aresh Amir has joined the company as general manager, sales and strategy.
Amir was recruited to further develop the internationalization of the Silos Cordoba Group, specifically in Asia and Africa. His multicultural experience combined with his multilingual knowledge will help Silos Cordoba to expand in the growing countries. His experience from big companies for continuous improvement activities will also help Silos Cordoba to improve internal organization and be more competitive in the global market.
Amir joins Silos Cordoba from Trumpf Spain, a Germany-based machine tool company, where he worked as managing director with a turnover of more than €80 million and around 100 employees, responsible for the Iberian market.
Prior to Trumpf, Amir worked in the Alstom Group, responsible for supplier development applying the lean sigma methodology to reduce costs.
