GSI names new grain division director, North America

ASSUMPTION, ILLINOIS, U.S. — GSI on Sept. 30 named Kyle J. Kuepker as grain division director, North America, to lead and provide strategic direction for GSI’s North America Grain business across farm and commercial markets.
He will also provide day-to-day oversight for all grain business sales, regional product management, dealer development, customer service and aftermarket support.
Kuepker brings an extensive background in agriculture and comes to GSI from Cargill, Inc., where he served in various leadership capacities over the past 15 years. Most recently he served as director of risk management for Horizon Milling, a division of Cargill.
He has also served as national sales leader for Cargill Aghorizons, where he was responsible for business strategy and sales management for a team of more than 400 sales professionals. His previous professional experience includes management of an agricultural commodity consulting business and a grain handling facility, as well as grain and logistics merchandising.
Kuepker earned his bachelor’s of science degree in agriculture from Western Illinois University. He is also a 22-year veteran of the Army National Guard and currently serves as lieutenant colonel and battalion commander of the six-state region’s Officer Candidate School.
