XOL Automation adds technical development manager

ALEXANDRIA, EGYPT — XOL Automation announced in January the addition of John Samir as technical development manager, effective Jan. 14.
Samir has extensive background in the food, steel and cement industries. He has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical power engineering and a master’s degree in heat transfer from Alexandria University, Egypt. Samir is project management professional (PMP) certified. Prior to joining XOL, Samir had served as a process and project engineer at Cargill (NVOC) for six years.
“John’s backgrounds in the food, metals and minerals industries will greatly help us expand our capabilities, providing more products and services to our valued Customers” said Marcel Hage, chairman of XOL Automation. “John adds knowledge, experience and a unique perspective to our business. We are thrilled to have him join the team.”

Samir will be based out of Alexandria, Egypt.
