MANHATTAN, KANSAS, U.S. — Engrain recently expanded its business with the addition of Magnus Baumann as the president of Engrain Eastern Holdings.
Baumann will oversee Engrain’s new office in Switzerland, which is positioned to better serve the company’s customers in Africa, Europe and the Middle East.
“We are thrilled about the addition of Magnus to our team,” said Vaughn Studer, chief executive officer of Engrain. “He has more than 25 years of industry experience and expertise in grain processing, marketing, trade and commerce. His breadth of knowledge will benefit our customers and this expansion will allow Engrain to increase our availability and services.”
Prior to joining Engrain, Baumann served as vice-president of Grain Processing for Bühler Inc., USA. He has degrees in business administration and technical merchandising from Kaderschule Management School in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He is also a certified millwright.
The Eastern Holdings Office joins other Engrain business locations in Latin America and the Philippines, in addition to its distribution center in Kenya.
