AGI makes appointments for newly created positions

WINNIPEG, MANITOBA, CANADA — Ag Growth International (AGI) announced on Feb. 23 the appointments of David Wernsing and Dr. Joerg Zimmerman to newly created positions.
Wernsing moves to director of international sales, Latin American and China. This newly created position is responsible for growing international business in Latin America and China as well as, commercial handling in North America.
Wernsing brings 15 years of industry experience to this new role and has worked closely with AGI’s international team in the past as general sales manager of Union Iron Works.
Shane Knutson will carry-on the responsibility of AGI’s international sales director for international sales and marketing, focusing his efforts on Europe, CIS, Africa and Australia.
Zimmermann has assumed the new manager, sales support organization (SSO) position. Zimmermann leaves his role as AGI’s international commercial account executive to now lead the inside sales team with a focus on efficient quoting, logistics, systems design and field support.
