ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI, U.S. — Tapco Inc., a leading manufacturer of elevator buckets and bolts, on June 13 announced that it has added hanger bearings made of machined wood and UHMW to its offerings. These two new hanger bearings join Tapco’s existing line of injection-molded FDA-approved white 101 nylon and gray Nylatron GS Style A 226 hanger bearings.
Tapco noted that its wood bearings are constructed from oil impregnated maple. Tapco’s FDA-approved UHMW bearings are machined from prime virgin polyethylene, and each features a two-piece double flange design. Both are available in 1-inch to 3-7/16-inch internal diameter sizes and in stock for immediate delivery.
Tapco inventories 900,000 elevator buckets and 15 million elevator bolts. “We are constantly adding additional items — like the wood and UHMW hanger bearings — to help keep our customers up and running,” said Carl Swisher, sales manager.
