Details released for IPPE 2013 meeting

ATLANTA, GEORGIA, U.S. — The International Production & Processing Expo (IPPE) will serve as the umbrella name for the American Feed Industry Association, U.S. Poultry & Egg Association (USPOULTRY), and American Meat Institute (AMI) 2013 Expo in Atlanta, Georgia, U.S. The new show is the result of the co-location of the International Feed Expo (IFE), International Poultry Expo (IPE) and AMI’s International Meat Expo (IME).

The three shows will operate under one structure, creating one of the 50 largest tradeshows in the U.S. The entire tradeshow is expected to include more than 1,000 exhibitors and close to 400,000 net square feet of exhibit space. All three associations will continue to operate independently, serving their respective constituents and will offer targeted education and networking opportunities that meet the customer needs and compliment the Expo.

The IFE offers one location for feed industry meet, network, learn and see the latest in new technology. IFE offers an unprecedented opportunity to access a dynamic purchasing audience, key decision makers and international customers from all segments of the industry.

Pre-registration and hotel registration is now open online is the only way to pre-register for the discounted price of $40 through Jan. 11, 2013. After this date, the registration fee will increase to $60. Details can be found at www.ippe13.org.

The show hours for the 2013 International Production & Processing Expo are as follow:

Jan. 29: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.

Jan. 30: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Jan. 31: 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.

There will be a reception on the show floor from 4-6 p.m. on Jan. 29, and a second reception, sponsored by International Paper, the evening of Jan. 30, at the Georgia World Aquarium.

•           International Rendering Symposium: Jan. 31, additional fee of $150

•           Future of the U.S. Egg Industry: Jan. 31, additional fee of $100

•           Consumer Trends – Best New Meat and Poultry Products: Jan 29-30, no additional fee

•           AFIA Education Program: Jan 30, no additional fee

•           Poultry Market Intelligence Forum: Jan. 30, no additional fee
