Black Sea grain meeting planned Sept. 6 in Moscow

MOSCOW, RUSSIA — The XVIIIth Annual International Conference Black Sea Grain and Oilseeds 2012-13 will be Sept. 6, at the Renaissance Moscow Hotel 4, Moscow, Russia.
Historically, this conference is a forum for active discussion on the current situation at grain and oilseed markets in Russia and globally.
The conference will be opened by the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation
Ilya Shestakov. Confirmed speakers include:
Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Andrey Klepach.
Chairman of Krasnodar regional branch of the All-Russian public organization Russian Agrarian Movement Evgeny Gromyko.

The Russian Grain Union is partnering with NYSE Liffe Commodities ahead of the conference to organize a workshop from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 5 on hedging price risk for grain crops.
The workshop agenda includes the following sessions:
Prices and volatility in the grain market;
Government regulatory measures;
Export of grain;
Role of the commodity derivatives market.
