Wilhelm Lewicki elected new president of GAFTA

LONDON — Wilhelm Lewicki was elected president of the Grain and Feed Trade Association, London, at the group's meeting in January. He succeeds Rory Toal, who served as GAFTA president for 18 months.
Mr. Lewicki is managing director and owner of the international molasses and vinasses trading company B.V. Prohama and E.V.A. GmbH, based in Ludwigshafen, Germany.
As the new GAFTA president, Mr. Lewicki said he wanted to expand the association's presence and membership "to encompass new and emerging markets across the globe."
The association also elected John Vose deputy president and Werner Meyer vice-president. Mr. Vose is sales director at FF-Man Feed Products, Liverpool, U.K.; Mr. Meyer is trade manager of Avena Nordic Grain Oy, Helsinki, Finland.
