Since its introduction in 1996, the Sortex 90000 series high-capacity color sorter has become an industry standard, with more than 500 units installed worldwide. The 90000 series provides processors and millers with the purest possible end product, enabling customers to obtain the best market price.

The Sortex 90000 was engineered to maintain the highest possible sorting performance, even in the harshest operating conditions and regardless of the commodity. To achieve these standards, Sortex offers models featuring different sensors, optics and lighting to suit the needs of sorting different commodities.

Part of the Swiss engineering group Buhler, Sortex has won the Queen’s Award for Enterprise Innovation in 1968, 1972, 1987 and in 2001.
