The new floor-mounted Smart Sifter from Norvell Company, Inc. can be designed to fit any space, is simple and economical to operate and requires little annual maintenance. Most parts are non-proprietary and all are designed to be repaired or replaced in the field. The machine uses an onboard computer that synchronizes the sifter drives to optimize sifting capacity, and the advanced drive system eliminates the need for a stabilizing bar, which can interfere with outlet connections. Manufactured with a maple frame, two 1.5 horsepower motors and top-grade plywood walls on top and bottom, the sifter has a stationary magnetic stainless steel inlet and up to eight outlets. The press top is held down by self-locking adjusting screws.
