Representatives from Satake Corporation, U.K. Division, and nine other companies based in the United Kingdom recently embarked on a trade mission to Nigeria, whose government is encouraging privatization.
The "Britain in Nigeria" Exhibition was a joint venture initiative between the British Commission, Trade Partners U.K., the export section of the British Department of Trade and the South African-based Exhibition Management Services. The companies, drawn from various sectors of the economy, explored bilateral trade opportunities.
Satake is involved in the processing of wheat and rice. Other companies were involved in consulting, human resources, construction, debt management, customs and tax reform, engineering and mineral industry consulting.
