The Grain and Grain Processing Information Site
The Rolfes PT198 automated portable temperature system prevents commodity storage heat losses by using color graphics to immediately identify hot spots or potential problems in stored grain. The unit has a storage capacity of 4,950 thermocouple readings and can store temperature readings in centigrade or Fahrenheit. Reading times can be reduced by up to 85%. The PT198 also eliminates the need for handwritten grain temperature forms by transmitting information directly to a computer or printer, and will interface with virtually any portable temperature system.
