The DustMeter particle emission transmitter from Monitor Technologies, Elburn, Illinois, U.S., complies with E.P.A. guidelines by providing reliable and economical continuous emission monitoring and detection of filter failures in applications where controlling dust levels is critical.

The DustMeter continuously measures the concentrations of dust in exhaust ducts of baghouses, cartridge collectors, cyclones and other dust collectors containing filters, which deteriorate over time. The unit measures the triboelectric effect to follow the trend of emissions and determine when they exceed a user-defined level. The unit also incorporates an isolated relay contact for immediate alarm notification.

The DustMeter can easily tied into a P.L.C., data logger, chart recorder or digital panel meter.
