Established in 1936, Behlen Mfg. Co. manufactures grain silos, "Berico" grain dryers and metal building systems.
Behlen commercial grain storage bins feature trapezoidal wall panels with built-in wind bands to withstand up to 90 mph winds. Steel silos are available up to 19,000 tonnes capacity and hopper bins to 1,450 tonnes. The Behlen roof is certified to withstand 20 lbs per square inch of live load.
Berico grain dryers provide low-cost drying and quality grain output by recirculating up to two-thirds of all pre-heated exhaust air and utilizing a unique, "Turn Flo" grain exchange during the drying process.
"Berico" commercial dryers can be designed for grain, oilseeds or rice up to 140 tph.
Berico dryers are clean, quiet, fuel-efficient and available for cereal grains, edible beans and coffee, milo, rice, soybeans or sunflowers. Single tower units dry up to 5,000 bus per hour; additional tower units can be added to meet desired capacity.
