A new, proprietary clamping system designed by engineers at Great Western Manufacturing Co., Inc., Leavenworth, Kansas, U.S., improves sifter performance and sieve access. The system uses pneumatic cylinders to ensure constant sieve compression during operation, and allows sieves and frames to be completely removed, maintained and re-assembled in minutes without tools. The pneumatic clamping system is available on Great Western's Tru-Balance Sifters, both gravity and pneumatic feed models.
