New Farinograph model

Brabender OHG, Duisburg, Germany, has developed a successor to the Farinograph. The compact new Farinograph E uses the same mixers as the Farinograph or the micro-Farinograph, but is equipped with a modern electronic system for high-precision measurement instead of the mechanical balance system in the previous models. Parameters are entered from the computer keyboard, and online displays keep the miller informed of progress throughout the test. With Windows 95/98 or NT software, the miller can define reference curves with tolerance limits and check throughout the testing process to determine whether the sample flour meets specifications.
