Ugur Machine Industry, a family-owned company based in Ankara, Turkey, provides flour and semolina milling equipment and complete plants in a range of sizes, from compact mills to large, turnkey projects.
The company was established in 1971 as a manufacturer of separators, dry stoners and other cleaning equipment for flour mills. Ugur introduced plansifters and purifiers in the early 1980s, and the company's first roller mill was manufactured in 1992.
Ugur roller mills, designed in either single or double deck configurations, operate at high capacities with all pneumatic systems. Ugur continues to invest heavily in developing new technologies for the milling industry. The company recently adapted new roller mills for use in semolina mills.
Ugur recently expanded its manufacturing facility to 12,000 square meters and has a staff of 250 employees. Equipment is manufactured under the stringent requirements of the Turkish Standardization Institute. Ugur also is preparing to obtain ISO 9002 certification. Technological developments of CNC machinery and high-quality production standards are displayed in all Ugur equipment.
Ugur has supplied milling equipment to a variety of international customers, and spare parts are always readily available. Customer references include facilities in Egypt, Romania, Iran, Syria, Russia, Pakistan and Italy. Ugur said it was ready to continue expanding into the international market for cleaning, milling and packaging machinery.
