MISHAWAKA, INDIANA, U.S. — Laidig Systems, Inc., plans to expand its office and plant facilities in Mishawaka by 30%, due in large part to the global demand for larger automated bulk storage and handling systems, the company said recently. The enlarged facilities will enable Laidig to manufacture reclaimers up to 110 feet in diameter for silos and domes. In addition, Laidig’s traversing screw reclaimers will operate in flat storage structures up to 120 by 600 feet. Typical materials stored and handled by Laidig include grains and meals.
