PORTO ALEGRE, RIO GRANDE DO SUL, BRAZIL — Brazil-based Kepler Weber recently completed installation of three storage and drying plants that have a combined processing and storage capacity of 200,000 tonnes.

The three plants, belonging to Agroisleña C.A., are located in the Venezuelan cities of Acarigua, Chaguaramas and Sabana de Parra. The individual capacities are 100,000, 60,000 and 40,000 tonnes, respectively.

Kepler Weber’s assembly team completed the assembly itself in 100 days, less than half of the designated time.

The three Agroisleña storage units are prepared to receive, convey, clean, dry and offer long-term storage for a significant portion of the Venezuelan grain production. Equipped with dryers and grain conservation systems developed for processing products to various degrees of impurities and humidity, the facilities provide storage that aims to preserve grain’s original properties.
