SIOUX FALLS, SOUTH DAKOTA, U.S. — John Nelson has been named president of Hi Roller Conveyors. He succeeds Phil Clark, who was appointed chief executive officer and chairman of the board.
Mr. Nelson, who joined Hi Roller in 1991 as general manager, has helped lead the company "on a rapid growth path both domestically and internationally," the company said. He previously had worked 15 years in the soybean processing industry, holding such positions as special projects manager, plant manager and loss prevention manager.
Under Mr. Clark's leadership, Hi Roller, a manufacturer of enclosed belt conveyors, was named the U.S. Small Business Administration's 1998 Exporter of the Year for South Dakota.
