OMAHA, NEBRASKA, U.S. — In mid-January, a U.S. patent was issued for InterSystem’s uniquely designed Kleen Drag gate. The gate is designed in such a manner that when closed, the gate plate is completely flush with the conveyor bottom. So there are no pockets of material to cause cross-contamination. The sloped profile of the Kleen Drag conveyor bottom ensures complete cleanout of the conveyor trough and allows for easy discharge at gate openings. The gate has a unique adjustable seal design that prevents leakage of material or dust.
