IMA to hold 2000 milling conference in Prague

PRAGUE, CZECH REPUBLIC — Changing cereal markets in Central and Eastern Europe and quality and quantity forecasts for cereal production in this region will be the focus of "Forum 2000 of the Flour Milling Industry," a conference set for May 18-20 in Prague. The conference, sponsored by the International Milling Association, Brussels, Belgium, will be at the Rogner Hotel Don Giovanni.
Registration, an executive committee meeting and a welcome reception at the New Town Hall will begin Thursday, May 18. The next two days will be filled with working sessions and social gatherings. Other educational sessions will cover the future work force; high-performance mills for the future, featuring Allied Mill's Apollo project; crisis management; and WTO impacts on the milling industry.
