Industrial Fumigant Co. will sponsor a seminar on food plant pest management Thursday, March 15 at the Double Tree Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas, U.S.
The day-long program will cover the essentials of pest prevention for food operations. Recertification credit for pesticide applicators also will be offered.
"These seminars are intended to communicate the very best practices and procedures to correct and prevent pest problems," IFC said. "The emphasis will be on the basics of good pest management in food processing plants and distribution warehouses."
Topics will include a review of primary food plant pests, basic pesticides, rodent control, legal requirements, and an update on methyl bromide and phosphine.
