Building on its on-line grain trading system, ICECorp.com has launched an Internet-based platform to offer a proprietary on-line marketplace named ICE Private Network, or IPN.
The new IPN allows individual companies to offer an array of marketing tools and information services to customers. Using recently announced integration software, the system will incorporate completed transactions into existing accounting software products.
"IPN users can manage and strengthen their customer relationships through this customized, secure and easy-to-navigate exchange platform," said Alan Wood, ICE vice-president of marketing and development.
