High-capacity storage

SCAFCO Grain Systems (Booth No. 908), Spokane, Washington, U.S., recently shipped its first 105-foot diameter grain storage silo. The SCAFCO model 10561IS storage silo will be used at Almota Elevator Company, in southern Washington state in the U.S. The commercial silo is equipped with a three piece, two-stage rafter supported roof and hot-dip galvanized internal stiffeners and is designed to hold 520,340 bushels of grain. Galvanized steel rafters and purlins for this large facility are produced by the SCAFCO steel framing division.
