Foss Tecator AB, Hoganas, Sweden, introduces its Infratec 1241 whole grain analyzer for use on wheat, barley, oats, triticale, rye, rapeseed, corn, soybean and rice. The modules measure grain quality by analyzing color, protein content, moisture, oil, starch, amylose and other factors in seconds. The machine presents test weight results and NIT results simultaneously and is equipped with a variety of calibrations, including the new artificial neural network and traditional, local PLS systems. The Infratec 1241 can be used with high moisture samples, such as corn above 40%, flour and green malt, the company said. Visit www.fossfuture.com for more details on how the system works.
