Frost to resign from Chief U.K. helm

MALDON, ESSEX, U.K. — Chas Frost is stepping down as managing director of Chief Industries U.K. Ltd; Peter Tatlow will take over as managing director effective from May 1, 2002. Tatlow joined Chief U.K. as general manager of exports four years ago, and has extensive sales and marketing experience in the handling, storage and drying of grains, the company said.
Frost, who has been managing director of Chief U.K. since it was formed 17 years ago, will become a non-executive director. He will also serve as an advisor to the main board of the Chief group in the U.S., based in Kearney, Nebraska.
"His input will be especially helpful to the Agri/Industrial Division and the international sales of Chief Industries, Inc.," the company said.
The Chief Industries Group, with a turnover above U.S.$300 million, manufactures many diversified products from steel buildings and waste water treatment systems, grain drying and storage systems, and other divisions, including security furniture, recreational vehicles, and manufactured housing.
