ROTTERDAM, THE NETHERLANDS — European Bulk Services B.V. is the dry bulk terminal operator in the Port of Rotterdam, loading, unloading, storing and treating a wide range of agricultural products en route to and from Europe, at E.B.S. Europoort terminals I and II. It also handles minerals and scrap from another dedicated terminal.
These terminals can handle a wide range of vessels, including Cape-size vessels that reach the E.B.S. terminals without having to pass a single lock.
A fleet of floating cranes and weighing towers compliment mechanical and pneumatic equipment dockside.
Around 1 million cubic meters is available for closed storage, varying from silos and sheds to bunkers. Space is also available for open storage, including storage on liquid-proof floors.
E.B.S. says its flexibility is due not only to its high-quality equipment and facilities but primarily to the professionalism of its employees, who work in a three- and five-shift system.
