Maschinen & Muehlenbau Wittenberg GmbH
, Wittenberg, Germany, offers consultation, engineering, implementation and after-sales service. With more than 120 years of experience in mill construction, its product range includes complete flour and husking mills, cleaning, sorting and separating technology as well as dedusting and ventilation systems.
MMW conducts location and feasibility studies; engineers plants with a range of capacities; provides systems for processing different raw materials in one plant; and consults on financial options, modernization projects and mill reconstruction.
MMW also offers training for the head miller and staff, focusing on laboratory, technology, mechanics, operation and electronic systems control. A maintenance and spare parts service contract is available.
MMW is continually involved in research and development, including improvements for the "Challenge 2000 plus" milling system that maximizes yield by optimizing the process and significantly shortening the mill diagram. The modular, steel-frame design can be used for a variety of grain types and can be installed in existing buildings.
Yield increases up to 80% can be achieved, and ash content below 0.63% is possible. The milling system's efficient dampening techniques shorten tempering times. The fully automated operation offers 24-hour monitoring, and integrated quality management requires few personnel.
