Egypt has new wheat buyer

CAIRO — After 12 years as Egypt's public-sector wheat buyer, Samir Shakankiri has announced retirement as vice-chairman of the General Authority for Supply Commodities Chairman.
The agency's general manager, Muhammed Abd El-Razek, will take on Mr. Shakankiri's buying duties in Cairo for the next four to six months until a new vice-president is appointed.
