LONDON, U.K. — NABIM, the trade association for the U.K. flour milling industry, will soon be accepting enrollment for the 2002-03 session of its long-standing milling correspondence courses.
The courses are studied each year by hundreds of students around the world and lead to City and Guilds award qualifications. In the 2001 examinations, the top performers came from Vietnam and Africa as well as from Europe. Previous years’ top candidates, winners of the NABIM Silver Medal, have come from as far afield as Australia and Canada.
For details of NABIM’s correspondence courses in flour milling, contact NABIM, Tel: 44.20.7493.2521; Fax: 44.20.7493.6785. Or visit its web site, www.nabim.org.uk, which describes the structure of the seven courses, covering everything from hygiene to handling, from the screenroom to storage, and from milling to management.
