CPM buys Beta Raven

WATERLOO, IOWA, U.S. — California Pellet Mill (CPM), a global manufacturer and designer of pelleting and particle size reduction equipment, has purchased computerized process controls and ingredient scaling systems company, Beta Raven.
Beta Raven, based in St. Charles, Missouri, U.S., like CPM, focuses mainly on the feed milling market, but also sells process automation and control systems to the bakery, tortilla and pre-mix industries. Beta Raven will continue to operate from St. Charles.
CPM, part of the Compass Group, operates U.S. plants in Waterloo; Crawfordsville, Indiana; and Merrimack, New Hampshire; and in Wexford, Ireland; Singapore; Wuxi, China; and Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
