Fundiciones Balaguer S.A. strives to produce better cast-iron chilled rolls to satisfy millers' needs through continuous research and development. A year ago, the company launched the K12, a specially treated and alloyed mill roll that "changes the concept of the milling industry," according to Balaguer.
The K-12 is a high hardness roll that can be easily fluted, which improves performance. The K-12 has been tested in Europe at a very competitive cost. Other high-quality Balaguer rolls available worldwide include the K00, K01 and K02.
Balaguer has received ISO-9002 certification by Bureau Veritas, an international quality certification company, for its rolls used in the milling industry.
