MINNEAPOLIS, MINNESOTA, U.S. — Carter Day International, Inc. has purchased the assets of Jacobson, LLC., a manufacturer of hammermills, pulverizers and a diverse range of other size reduction equipment.
Carter Day has been serving agribusiness and plastics markets worldwide for more than 100 years, taking pride in its quality sizing, separating and drying equipment. Jacobson’s product line offers entree into many new industries. Manufacturing and engineering will be consolidated into Carter Day’s Minneapolis facility.
Each of the businesses has accumulated a century of applications experience, backed by extensive lab facilities.
"We are very pleased with the acquisition, and the Jacobson brand will again be a force in the market," said Paul W. Ernst, Carter Day president and chief executive officer.
