Braime Elevator Components Ltd. has served the bulk materials handling industry for over 110 years, providing cost effective, practical solutions for a multitude of material handling problems.
Braime also is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of elevator buckets and has developed over 300 specific elevator bucket designs manufactured in seamless and stainless steel, HD polyethylene, nylon and polyurethane for the grain, feed, milling and many other industries.
Braime’s specialized team of development engineers is available free of charge to manufacturers, end users and distributors, providing design consultation and engineering expertise for the design of material handling systems. This unique service is constantly utilized by leading names in mechanical handling equipment. Braime’s engineering team provides technical solutions on a daily basis as a key part of the company’s commitment to the industry.
New legislation in health and safety, dust explosion prevention and a greater awareness of the need for monitoring processes to ensure continuity of production with minimum downtime has led to Braime’s development of monitoring equipment specifically designed for mechanical handling equipment. The product range includes rotary and capacitance level controls, belt misalignment sensors, shaft speed monitors, bearing and casing temperature sensors and complete process "Watchdog" systems.
Braime’s "Whirligig" three-in-one target/bracket/guard is available for all industry standard cylindrical or DIN inductive sensors. When used with the company’s M800 Speedswitch, the speed monitoring device protects rotating equipment from dangerous under-speed conditions. The M800 sensor can be bolted to the Whirligig base plate, and the entire assembly bolts to the shaft of a bucket elevator, conveyor or any other type of rotating machinery.
