American Ingredients to restructure milling and ingredients divisions

KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, U.S. — Effective March 2003, American Ingredients Company announced several business restructures, according to Ron Ashton, president and chief executivce officer. Two business units will be created to handle all commercial operations: the Milling and Baking Business Unit, and the Ingredients and Additives Business Unit that will be responsible for all aspects of the company’s business in the food, polymer and industrial markets.

Ian Trood has been appointed to the new position of Vice President, Milling and Baking. Reporting to Trood will be: Jerry Doremus, Director of Sales – Baking; Bill Gambel, Director of Sales – Milling; and Keith Clemens, Director of Marketing – Milling and Baking.

Jim Easton has been appointed to Vice President, Ingredients and Additives. Reporting to Easton will be: Mike Hart, Business Director – Ingredients and Additives; Dale Dieckman, Technical Director – Ingredients and Additives; and Paul Barnes, Product Manager – Ingredients and Additives.
