NORTH BRANCH, MINNESOTA, U.S. — Sunrise Flour Mill, a local, organic mill in Minnesota that specializes in artisan organic flour and heritage wheat, has purchased a 5,200-square-foot facility in North Branch. In acquiring the facility, Sunrise will increase its retail packaging and wholesale capacity, while allowing the company to expand production of its products, including rye flour, cornmeal, flaked oats, oat flour, heritage pancake and waffle mix, and frozen pizza dough.

Founded in 2006 by Darrold and Marty Glanville, Sunrise Flour Mill supplies restaurants and other retail locations with heritage wheat flour. The company’s products are available in 2.5-pound to 20-pound bags and are sold direct to consumers through Mill City Farmers Market and online at www.sunriseflourmill.com
