KIEV, UKRAINE – Nibulon recently opened an office in Kiev, Ukraine, the company said, to make it easier to interact with public authorities and core organizations.

With headquarters in Mykolaiv, Ukraine, it was difficult for company specialists to constantly travel to the Ukrainian capital for events and meetings, Nibulon said. Volodymyr Klymenko was appointed as deputy general director for interaction with public authorities.

Klymenko has years of experience in agriculture. Since 2002, he has worked as an advisor to the vice-prime ministers of agriculture in seven governments, as well as an advisor to the Secretary of the Council of National Security and Defense on a voluntary basis. He is also a member of the Council of Entrepreneurs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, EBRD and FAO expert. He participated in a number of government delegations.

As president of the Ukrainian Grain Association, Klymenko contributed to the development of a civilized competitive grain market in Ukraine in cooperation with Nibulon, which is one of the founders and an active member of the association.

“We hope that this experience and knowledge multiplied by professionalism and the creative approach of our specialists will allow us to implement ambitious investment projects in different fields and will give rise to a new stage in development of Ukrainian economy,” Nibulon said.

The company has grain elevators and transshipment terminals and production branches in several different regions of Ukraine. It has invested $1.65 billion in the Ukrainian economy in its 25 years of business.
