KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI, U.S. — Voters in Oregon and Colorado on Nov. 4 rejected separate measures that would have required the labeling of food and beverages manufactured using bioengineered ingredients.

Measure 92 in Oregon failed by a narrow margin while in Colorado a similar initiative, Proposition 105, was easily defeated with more than 65% of voters going against the measure.
