Viterra executive named Supply Chain Manager of the Year

REGINA, SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA — Viterra Inc. announced on Oct. 27 that Tim Kennedy, the company's director of transportation and logistics, was named Supply Chain Executive of the Year by the Freight Management Association of Canada (FMA).

Kennedy is responsible for Viterra's North American transportation and logistics functions including rail, truck, multi-modal, and vessel logistics. He has over 35 years of experience in agribusiness with a diverse background in freight and logistics management, grain marketing, export terminal and country elevator operations.

"We at Viterra are proud of Tim and this recognition of his talent and dedication. He is a proven leader who has been integral to our company's high performance over the years, especially during our periods of growth through multiple acquisitions and changes within our industry," said Kyle Jeworski, Viterra's president and chief executive officer for North America. "He will remain instrumental in our success as we move forward and continue providing superior service to our customers here at home and around the world."

"Tim Kennedy represents the best in supply chain management", said FMA President Bob Ballantyne, "His technical, management and communications skills and achievements are outstanding, and he has been generous in sharing his knowledge and developing the skills of his staff."

Kennedy was presented the award at the Canadian Institute of Traffic and Transportation's Canada Logistics Conference on Oct. 24 in Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
